We participate in the Bottle Drop Give Blue Bag program. You can bring your clean cans and bottles to the library, or you can ask for one of our blue bags and return it filled to the library, or any Bottle Drop location.

BOOK DONATIONS!
DONATIONS. We welcome gifts and donations of books. 90% of our collection has been obtained via donations from our patrons and others in our community. We gladly accept books, audiobooks, and DVDs that are recent, clean, and in good condition. All gifts and donations become the property of the library and when declared surplus may be sold at one of our book sales or donated further such as to St. Vincent de Paul. We do not accept magazines, VHS or laserdisc, old publications, or dirty or badly worn items.
When selecting materials for the library, the librarian looks at several factors, including relevance to the interests and needs of the community, date of publication, favorable reviews/recommendations, quality of factual content, and if applicable, permanence.
As we receive zero tax dollars, we are reliant upon donations, fundraisers, and grants to provide all library services. Financial donations are always gratefully received. We are a 501(c)3 non-profit, and your contributions will be acknowledged with a receipt and a letter stating that no goods or services were provided in exchange for your donation.

Reusable sneakers will be directed to reuse, others will be taken apart and recycled, keeping them out of landfills. Plus we earn $!
