Our library is funded by private donations, grants, and fundraising. We suggest a $20 yearly donation for a library card to help us with operating expenses. The library card may be used by any member of the family.
We have no restriction on who can become a patron. We receive zero tax dollars so we are not restricted by any taxation requirements.
- Items are loaned for 4 weeks (28 days) at a time
- Patrons may borrow up to 25 items at a time
Overdue items no longer incur late fines. We do not want overdue fines to be an obstacle to patrons using our library.
Before a patron’s library card is renewed after one year, all registration information contained in the user record must be verified and updated, if necessary.
Renewals: Library materials are now automatically renewed by our circulation program! All items checked out to you will be renewed automatically unless another patron has put a hold request on it. You will receive an automated email informing you of your upcoming due date and the message that the items are eligible for auto renewal and their new due dates, or whether they need to be returned for another patron. You can review your account by logging into our online catalog. Items will renew for an additional 28 days, up to five additional times, after which they will need to be returned. We hope this new feature will provide a more enjoyable library experience for everyone!
Lost items: Patrons may replace a lost item, pay the retail price of the item, or donate an item of equal value to the library.
We will notify patrons verbally of their due dates at check out.
